2016 Rogers Cup Toronto: Day 3 Results / Pictures

A total of five Canadian players competed today in the second round of the 2016 Rogers Cup Toronto tennis tournament.  Peter Polansky, Steven Diez and Vasek Pospisil were eliminated during day session so there was some pressure on crowd favorite Milos Raonic.   Milos kept his calm and advanced to the third round by defeating Yen-Hsun Lu of Taiwan in two sets.   In the final match of the night Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria defeated Canadian teenager Denis Shapovalov  in two sets, to move into the third round.  Rogers Cup continues tomorrow with Kei Nishikori and Stan Wawrinka headlining the day session.   The night session will feature Milos Raonic vs  Jared Donaldson and Novak Djokovic vs Radek Stepanek.
