Rio 2016: Day 9

Day 9 competition has come to an end.  Canadian athletes added one medal today.  Canada’s first medal by a male athlete comes in the ninth day of competitions.  Andre De Grasse won the bronze medal in the Men’s 100m.  He finished the race with a time of 9.91s behind Justin Gatlin of the United States (9.89s) and Usain Bolt of Jamaica (9.81s).

On the race against winner Usain BOLT (JAM) and silver medallist Justin GATLIN (USA):

“Racing the fastest man in the world, ever, and (Justin) GATLIN, these guys are spectacular.”

“I’m speechless. They’re probably jumping up and down screaming back home in Canada.”

He also loves checking out musicians that are just starting out. There is a fresh and unique energy that starting artists give out that can only be captured by a photographer who is equally passionate about music journalism and pictures.
